Partners in Hope Christmas Party

John Hamilton playing Santa

Sydney and mom

Hi everyone. I know Christmas was already 2, no 3!! weeks ago. But I wanted to share some fun pictures of our Partners in Hope Christmas Party. It was a great time to hang out with the staff and their families. No party is complete in Malawi without a D.J-so Chawezi, one of our counselours, stepped right in and got the party going.

Remember Chisomo, one of the interpreters? She recently married Edward, a cleaner at PIH and they are enjoying newlywed bliss

The party happened to be on December 22nd, Mike's birthday. So the staff made sure he was sufficiently embarassed by having everyone sing to him while he stood on "stage."

We (especially Sam) also introduced our friends to WashU. A lawn game that we have become addicted to, thanks to our Wisconsin friends, and now the PIH staff is hooked as well.
We all had a wonderful time (there's nothing like an outdoor BBQ on Dec 22nd), and thankfully it didn't rain since we are in the midst of a very rainy, rainy season.
