Madonna!

No, we haven't met her. But thanks to Madonna and her adoption, everyone knows where Malawi is on a map. Little did we know when we visited Kindle Orphan Outreach last week, Madonna had visited there the week previous. When we were getting back in the car, it was pointed out that she had planted a tree in front of the new clinic. We hadn't seen it when we parked as it's quite small and looks like the other brush in front of the clinic. It turns out Mike had parked about 2 feet away from the tree. Mike could have easily made the name for himself as "the guy who drove over Madonna's tree" if he had pulled up a little further. As you can tell from the picture the local officials are quite proud of the new tree.
