the family

Here's the family, getting excited to go to Malawi. We are waiting on our house to sell, and the last of our support to be raised. Until then we are enjoying springtime in MN--lots of rain and cold. It's weird to think we won't need all of these warm clothes again in Malawi. And often I find myself thinking how this is the last time we will be doing some things --such as the kids last day of school, the last storytime at the library, the last Sunday school with their current teachers. Although I know there will be lots of new, wonderful adventures, right now, our life is very comfortableand blessed. we are so thankful that God is walking with us and we know that He will be with us as we move.

Moving to Malawi

Hi! This is our first attempt at a "Blog", but I hope it is helpful for communicating with our friends and family once we are in Malawi. It is official (assuming the rest of our support comes in), we are heading to Malawi on October 25th. When we actually bought our plane tickets, I felt overwhelmed. Although I know God has led us to this point and will continue to go before us as we trust Him, it felt so official and REAL!! Our house is now on the market, so please pray that it will sell. We are so thankful for all of the support we have as we make this move. Thanks so much!!
